American pop sensation Madeline is about to release her sophomore EP Gut Tug, with Somebody I Know being the stand out single from the EP.

80s music has been having something of a comeback recently, and Somebody I Know definitely takes from that genre, especially in terms of the synths used! It’s a modern pop song but it’s also rather different from a lot of the boring mainstream pop out there, showing some fantastic songwriting skills from Madeline. Her vocals match the beat perfectly – the synths also add a percussive aspect to the tune. You can find it here:
