Discovery: Zoe Cure

I’m a big fan of the singer-songwriter genre – particularly artists that use the piano as their main instrument. As such, I was enraptured when I first heard Zoe Cure’s music.

I had the sun in my heart is quite a subtle piece of music, featuring a lone piano melody as the sole instrumentation here. However, the way Zoe plays ensures that the track sounds fully fledged on its own back, sounding almost like several pianos playing at once at times. Her vocals are also rather quiet, but they suit the style of music well, allowing the flowing piano to weave in and out in perfect harmony. Make sure you check this track out here:
