To Be Alive is quite a subtle sounding tune, starting out with just an acoustic guitar and the lead vocals. Another set of vocals appear every so often to complement the main voice on offer – the backing vocals add a gorgeous set of harmonies to the piece. It’s a mellow piece of music, but it’s astoundingly beautiful, especially as those vocals rise up higher and higher. If you like your folk music, this is for you!
