Hurt Me is the first single from Alexz Johnson’s forthcoming album Seasons, which is due out this spring.

Hurt Me is a track that mixes together pop, jazz and the blues, making for one fantastic overall package. It’s a piano-based track, although an organ can also be heard in the background, adding a great deal of soul to the piece. The guitars have a retro sound, fitting the beat well. Alexz has a fantastic singing voice, full of emotion as her vocals soar through this piece in style – the backing vocals also add a gospel vibe. Check it out here:
