British singer Sophia Patsalides brings a moody take on the r&b genre to these pages with her fantastic new tune, Beautiful Ghost.

Beautiful Ghost starts out slowly, with a subtle organ melody playing in the background. Sophia has a stunning voice, singing in a sultry and soulful manner over the music. The backing vocals are used in a really interesting way, having a rhythmic quality that is reminiscent of the music of the 50s and 60s. The beat kicks in after a while, following the backing vocals perfectly. There isn’t too much variation here, but it doesn’t really need it, as the track sounds amazing on its own.
