It’s time for another fantastic tune from folky singer-songwriter and musician Alba James, showing that her music just gets better and better!

The Swedish songstress returns with Wake Up In Your Eyes, which is yet another stripped-down folk song. It’s beautiful in a charming way, as Alba’s wistful vocals drift slowly across the subtle guitar melodies in the background. It’s a quiet song, but there’s lots of beauty hidden away inside if you give it a chance. Alba describes the track as being a ‘queer folk ballad’, and it also features an accordion and ukelele, as well as the guitars.
