It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Dutch singer-songwriter Robert Weston, but his new tune comes very welcome indeed!

Despite hailing from the Netherlands, Gonna Write Me A Drinkin’ Song has a typical Americana feel, also mixing in some country, rock and folk for good measure. It’s undeniably catchy, yet the track also has an edge to it – Robert’s vocals are both smooth and raw, grooving away perfectly in the forefront of the track. The guitars sound epic too, combining well with the bouncy, upbeat rhythm the track has. Just try and listen to this without wanting to dance along to that infectious beat!
