The last time we heard from American singer Isabel LaRosa was almost a year ago – she’s back with a fantastic new tune titled more than friends.

more than friends is a pop song of sorts, although it’s probably best described as being an alt-pop tune, as it’s rather dark! The bass and synths align perfectly to create something seeps underneath your skin on the first listen, sounding perfectly produced throughout. Isabel uses her voice amazingly here, singing lower notes on the verses before her vocals truly soar on the chorus. There’s a real sense of urgency in her voice that is unmatched by most modern singers – the video is also worth checking out:
