I don’t think we’ve ever reviewed music from Armenia, so lo-fi producer Pokesh’s music comes as a very welcome surprise!

Quiet Evening is designed to capitalise on the recent upsurge in popularity for the chillwave/lo-fi beats genre, and it certainly sounds good enough to compete with Pokesh’s peers! The beat is steady and simple, throbbing along in the background in a chilled out manner. A clean electric guitar melody meanders through the tune, with occasional piano trickles also heard at times, adding more variety to this pretty piece of work. It’s very relaxing as a whole, perfect for destressing after a hard day at work.
