The last time we heard from Kat Kennedy was way back in April of 2022, so it’s exciting to hear new music from her!

The American singer-songwriter returns with new tune Future Broken Heart. It’s a stripped down indie pop tune that reminds me a little of Phoebe Bridgers’ work, although it’s unique enough to stand on its own two feet! Kat’s voice is soft and sultry as it drifts through the music, with the little guitar melodies creating a nice backing tone. An electric guitar solo appears towards the end, adding a little more variety to the piece. If you’ve not checked Kat’s music out yet, this is the perfect introduction!
