Apricot Ink are an Australian pop band who have featured on the blog a couple of times over the past few years, consistently bringing a feelgood vibe to our pages. Their latest is no exception, just in time for the warmer weather arriving here in the Northern hemisphere. It’s called Summa Glo.
By Graeme Smith
Summa Glo gives us the chill side of the Apricot Ink sound, without losing any of the vibrancy we’ve grown used to. It’s a laidback number, with dreamy vocal harmonies and a groove to die for. It’s a song about letting go of doubt, and embracing the chaos of the present.
Apricot Ink take influence from the likes of The XX, Mac Miller and BENEE. Fans of any of those acts should definitely check out Summa Glo. You can give the track a listen below.
