HELLO MAMA is a little different from the other Kid Travis songs that we’ve heard, as it’s much more stripped down overall.

HELLO MAMA is still a pop song, although it’s very minimalist, featuring just a simple, fingerpicked guitar melody as the main instrumentation. It doesn’t really need much more though, as it sounds really beautiful throughout. The chord sequence is perfectly crafted, particularly as it goes into the chorus. Kid Travis also has a fantastic singing voice, crooning through the music in a soulful way. The backing vocals on the chorus are astounding, adding even more beauty to this amazing track!
