Sky Olson is an American alternative pop artist who has just caught my attention thanks to his Billie Eilish and John Mayer-inspired new track Lock & Key.

Lock & Key is an emotive track about the wrong type of love. The story is told through a moody yet laidback bedroom pop arrangement and Sky’s charismatic vocals. You can certainly hear his influences in its edgy and soulful composition, but he’s also bringing something fresh and new to the genre.
Though new to us, Sky Olson already has a strong reputation in the underground music world. He’s won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. It’s easy to see why when he’s creating music like Lock & Key.
