Danish alternative pop three-piece Takykardia have featured on our blog a few times over the years, most recently last autumn with their video L’enfant de ton enfant sauvage. They never fail to impress with the thoughtful and vibrant music, their latest being no exception. It’s called Brain Attack!.

Like L’enfant de ton enfant sauvage, Brain Attack! is a very personal track for Takykardia’s frontwoman Luna Matz. It speaks of anxiety and how it impacts relationships, told against a backdrop of pulsing and urgent electro pop. With this track, Takykardia have somehow produced something that feels fresh, yet is unmistakably them. They remain one of the most exciting discoveries I’ve made for this blog.
