We originally discovered Danish trip-hop act Takykardia way back in early 2018 so it was cool to see their name cross our radar again, this time through their new single Poor Little Anxious Me.

Poor Little Anxious Me is quite a different prospect from their 2018 track Navigate. Back then we compared them to Godspeed You Black Emperor! Poor Little Anxious Me bears no similarity to Canadian post rock and reminds me a lot more of another new artist that I’m loving at the moment – Psyclo.

Whispered verses rub shoulders with floaty choruses and a really cool electro composition. Overall, Poor Little Anxious Me is a fresh sounding and unexpected track. It’s definitely one you need to hear for yourself. Check it out below.
