German group Grey Paris have a new EP coming out this month titled Lee Waves – here’s a little taster to pique your interest.

Mytilini is a gorgeous piece of music, having quite an ambient quality to it. It’s hard to characterise by genre, although it has elements of both classical and electronic music, making for one awesome package altogether. A meandering piano melody runs through the music, gaining traction as the song progresses, building the tension up slowly whilst a raft of background effects and synths are added. A beat is added later on, creating an almost jazzy sound in this long number. It’s certainly a unique proposition!
