Derby-based producer Sfven has been making regular appearances on this blog since we first discovered him back in 2020 thanks to his delightful indie pop track Flowerbeds. Now, he’s back with a new anthemic track and video. It’s called like that.

With like that, you get the laidback yet thoughtful bedroom pop that we’ve grown to expect from Sfven, with melancholic and storytelling lyrics as standard. What catches you most about like that, though, is its stunning video. Wonderfully choreographed, and shot by Olivia Ferrera, it truly is a beauty to behold.
I’ve not been shy about showing my support for Sfven, and neither have others. BBC 6 Music’s Guy Garvie has championed him, as has Radio 1’s Jack Saunders. He continues to put out music that’s as relatable as it is unique. You can check out the video for like that below.
