Scarborough-based Nalgo Bay first hit my radar around this time last year, but one member, singer Terri-Ann Prendergast, has been featuring on these pages a lot longer. Now they’re back on the blog thanks to new single Jealousy.

Opening with an instantly infectious riff, Jealousy is no-holds-barred power pop rock that will have industry heavyweights ducking for cover. Its punchy chorus shows off the full strength of Terri-Ann’s vocals while Harry Bullen’s guitar and Jon Dawes drum make enough noise for a five-piece.
It’s so exciting to have such an awesome band based right here in North Yorkshire. We’re not their only fans. They’ve been championed by BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys, and have recently supported Reverend & The Makers.
