Weight of the World is the first track to be released from Dutch artist Tomas Ferdinand’s upcoming EP, Weakdays.

The singer-songwriter has produced something stunning on Weight of the World – it’s a folky tune, but it diverges a little from the genre, adding in an indie-pop sensibility as well. The guitars are quite subtle in the background, but they create a lovely flow within the piece, working well alongside Tomas’ low vocals. The backing effects are used effectively, creating multiple layers of music that will draw you in instantly. It’s certainly a pretty sounding track – you can find it here:
