Blues-rock band IDA JANE is set to take the world, as their latest release Misery shows – it’s an absolute belter of a track!

Misery starts out perfectly with some awesome guitar riffs, full of bluesy grooves and rock and roll energy. It’s fantastic to hear a female vocalist singing this style of music, and what a voice she has! The lyrics are belted out in a wonderful way over the rest of the instrumentation, simply oozing attitude and angst throughout. It’s quite a melancholic track at times, but the minor chords work well with the themes of the song. The brass instruments are also a lovely surprise, adding a little more character into the mix.
