I’ve been sharing a lot of classical music recently – Norwegian composer mgns is a new discovery of mine, creating epic sounding music with a cinematic vibe.

Nordic is the name of this release, and it sounds incredibly anthemic throughout – I can just imagine this piece of music being used as the soundtrack to a fantasy film! It’s actually rather beautiful at times, especially when the strings swell, creating something that sounds really epic overall. The crescendos are used really well, getting straight into your head and making you feel gorgeous swathes of emotion. The video is also well worth a look too – find it here:
