Heavy Lungs Announce Debut Album & Yorkshire Dates

Bristol punk/noise rock quartet HEAVY LUNGS are delighted to announce that their long-awaited debut album, All Gas No Brakes, will be released on 29th September 2023 via Alcopop! Records on acid green limited edition signed vinyl.

Recorded at Holy Mountain Studios with additional production at Humm Studios by producer Chris Fullard and assistant engineer Stanley Gravett, the album was mastered by Adam Gonsalves at Telegraph Audio.

Of the news, the band say: “Well, well, well… they said it couldn’t be done, but look what just kicked you in the ass. Our debut album is coming out. It’s a dancer and it’s a prancer, and hopefully it’s a life enhancer. We recorded it way back in 2021 with head wizard, Wiz, and his jester Stan for some extra magic and spice, and it’s been a long old wait, but only another 3 months and it’s yours!”

Alongside the album and single, the band are pleased to announce a run of October 2023 album headline tour dates, and will also be appearing at this year’s TRUCK Festival. Tickets for the tour go on sale 10am, Friday 16th June – see below for listings.

They perform at the Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds on October 11th and the Sidney & Matilda in Sheffield on October 12th.
