I’ve really been getting into American pop singer-songwriter Cate Tomlinson’s music recently, and pretty boy is the best track I’ve heard from her yet.

pretty boy is a pop song of sorts – whilst it does have some mainstream pop moments, it also leans heavily towards the alt-pop movement. It starts out in a dreamy way, as the haunting piano melody appears, progressing throughout the majority of the track. The song slowly builds up over time, seeping underneath your skin in no time. The production quality sounds absolutely on point, and Cate’s vocals are epic, absolutely full of emotion here. This is a must listen!
