Will’s Leaving is a gorgeous new piece of piano-based classical music from British composer and pianist Hayley Morton.

Will’s Leaving was written about Hayley’s son leaving home for university for the first time, and you can really feel the emotion within the piece. It’s bittersweet at times, although it sounds utterly beautiful throughout. The left hand performs a lovely, everchanging arpeggio, with the right hand dipping in and out every so often, improving on the main motif as the music progresses. It’s a really gorgeous piece of music, and one that all fans of the classical genre should enjoy.
