lost art is a fantastic new release from American singer-songwriter Lauren Rintoul, a brand new discovery of mine!

lost art starts out fairly slowly, with some subtle instrumentation underpinning Lauren’s stunning vocal lines. The track breaks down a little afterwards, allowing the pretty piano chords to really elevate the tune into something far more beautiful. It’s also quite poppy at times, as the main chord sequence is ridiculously catchy, yet there’s much more to lost art than a mainstream pop tune. It’s very beautiful – especially in terms of the vocals. The backing vocals are glorious, sounding just like a pretty choir at times. You need to check this track out!
