Feel Safe Again is our first introduction to Aboutmeemo’s work, but it surely wont be our last! It’s got a proper old school pop-rock/90s alt-rock sound, featuring some awesome guitars riffs. The fingerpicked guitars at the end of the choruses have a lovely vibe, really drawing you into the music. The vocals are a little raw, but that factor just makes them sound more passionate, and you can really feel the emotion within them. The chorus has a proper singalong sound, seeming anthemic in every way possible. The horns that appear towards the end are a welcome surprise – unexpected, but awesome still!
