Sleep Talk is the perfect debut, as it really helps to show the listener exactly why Jake is so beloved a musician. It’s a catchy indie-pop tune, although the beat is used in a really interesting way with the synths and bass, creating something that is both highly upbeat and irresistibly catchy. Jake’s vocals are very heartfelt, particularly on the chorus where they truly soar, showing a great depth of emotion and soul within this killer track.
