Departitura, Pt. II (Leaving Hirzel Palace) is an absolutely gorgeous piece of classical music, sounding hauntingly beautiful throughout. The piano melodies sound full, containing a great deal of clarity as they perform the wonderful motifs contained within this tune. The dynamics are used extremely well, creating different textures and layers within the music. The right hand performs some gorgeously playful melodies, as the left hand creates different arpeggios, seeping underneath your skin in no time. This is one of the best tracks I’ve heard in a long time.
