American folk group Open Road Folk Music are quickly becoming firm favourites of mine, as they’re a must listen for anyone into their folk music.

If you’ve heard Open Road Folk Music’s songs before, you should know what to expect by now. However, Wind Off The Sea is still unique enough to differentiate it from the rest of their music. It’s a gorgeous folk tune, containing some lovely traditional folky instrumentation. The guitars provide a nice backbone with the piano, as the flute melodies drift along effortlessly. It’s largely an instrumental track (apart from the faint backing vocals), but it really doesn’t need any vocals, as it’s gorgeous enough as it is.
