Comfort Lie is a sapphic song about longing, sounding extremely beautiful from the start. It mixes together elements of country, Americana and folk music, featuring some lovely, simplistic guitar melodies in the background. The focus is mostly on Grace’s vocals, which are fantastic, going through a lovely range here – just listen to those high notes on the chorus! You can really feel the emotion and passion in the lyrics, as Grace absolutely belts them out. This is another must listen track from me!
