Punk rockers The Nixon Rodeo return to these pages with a great burst of energy, in the form of new release Friction.

Friction is a near perfect song, mixing together heaviness and melody into one amazing package. The killer riffs open the track up, setting the tone for the rest of the tune with the fast tempo. The vocals have a real sense of urgency, belted out over the music in a glorious way. The beat changes slightly on the chorus, showing a more melodic side to the band, whilst also retaining the heaviness. The solo towards the end is amazing too, showing off the band’s talents well. This is a must listen for punk fans!
