American singer-songwriter Olive Louise adds a unique flavour to the modern pop genre with Swallow the Ocean.

Swallow the Ocean is a pop song of sorts, but more in the indie-pop/alt-pop vein. One thing’s for sure – it’s expertly written, showing just how skilled Olive really is. The main chord sequence used is gorgeous, making for something that is both catchy and haunting. Olive has a wonderful singing voice too, used expertly here as her vocals simply soar over the rest of the instrumentation in a gorgeous way.
