Whilst The Light Through the Trees does have a classical bent, it also uses electronic elements, creating an ambient quality. It opens with some distinctive keyboard effects, seeing a slew of synths twinkle around in the background. A lone piano melody appears later on, accentuated by the sound of bird song.
