American singer-songwriter Eileen Torrez is a new discovery of mine, but no doubt we’ll be sharing her music more in the near future!

I Don’t Care is mostly a folk song, although it also has some elements of the country genre, due to the lovely slide guitars in the background. The rest of the instrumentation focuses on the gorgeous fingerpicked guitar melodies, carrying throughout the entire tune, changing slightly as it progresses. Eileen has a lovely voice too, full of heart and soul as she sings passionately here. The chorus is particularly astounding, really showing off her vocals in style. You need to check this out!
