matches is an extremely catchy tune, crossing across different genres in a unique way. The vocals mix between singing and an almost rapped style at times, creating something really unique. Whilst it’s quite poppy, there are also a lot of organic instruments used here, with some wicked guitar melodies performing underneath the keyboards and rhythm section, creating something fantastic that diverges well from the modern pop norms.
