The bedroom pop movement has been making waves recently, and Swedish musician Sarah von Reis is here to capitalise on it!

Phenomenon is a pop song of sorts, but it’s quite different from a lot of stuff on the radio at the moment, starting out fairly slowly. It’s a pretty steady song in terms of pace and tempo, but it works well, as Sarah’s sultry vocals weave in and out the music. The chorus elevates things a little, adding a cool drum beat in, alongside the spidery guitar lines. The lyrics are a bit repetitive at times, but they add a cool rhythmic quality, showing an artist completely in control of her own sound. Check it out here:
