Indie-folk duo The Sweeplings have produced one of their best tracks yet, titled Can I Have Forever With You.

Can I Have Forever With You is one of the most beautiful tracks I’ve heard in recent months – particularly in terms of the gorgeously melancholic chord sequence used here. It’s an extremely well-written piece of work, showing great promise for the future of The Sweeplings. The vocals are lush, backed up by some subtle backing vocals every so often, truly soaring as the haunting chorus hits you. It’s fairly minimalist in terms of the music itself, but the quiet strings and picked guitar melodies really add something special, allowing the vocals to shine through.
