German composer and musician Michael Carstensen produces beautiful pieces of neoclassical music, sure to set your soul on fire.

Excellent Day is the first track we’ve heard by Michael, but it’s so good that I’m sure we’ll be sharing more from him in the near future! It’s a pretty piano-based piece – whilst it sounds quite simplistic at first, Michael is clearly very talented, creating something really beautiful here. The main piano motif is gorgeous to behold, carrying through the majority of the tune as it progresses in fantastic style. It’s extremely evocative, sounding like something that would also suit a film soundtrack – check it out here:
