your girl is possibly best described as an indie-pop track – it opens with a driving guitar melody, matched by the timing of the bass and drums. The vocals are fairly low for the most part, although they do rise up higher on the catchy chorus, showing a much greater range. It’s extremely dreamy throughout, although the lyrics have a lovely quality, showing off this musician’s songwriting skills well! The synths are used occasionally, adding some lovely textures in the background of the tune. Check it out here:
