American indie-rockers Beach Vacation are fast becoming one of my favourite bands, and for good reason!

It Soothes Me is their latest release, taking things in a much dreamier direction. It’s a little different from their other tracks we’ve heard, as the vocals are quite distant in the mix. This sounds a little jarring at first, but it really works with the dreamy sound of the music, echoing in a lovely way. The guitar melodies have a flowing quality, carrying through the track as it progresses to its satisfying end. There isn’t too much variety, but it’s clear that Beach Vacation are extremely talented, creating yet another strong track here.
