MOLOTO & Babskin are an electronic acoustic duo made up of producer, musician and DJ Stefano Florio and the Italian-French singer and artist Elodie Lebigre. They’ve just come to my attention thanks to their latest track all about the duality of the human being. It’s called Left Side.

Left Side opens in a moody and sultry way. Elodie’s delicate and soulful vocals give it a human touch while its electronic instrumental arrangement provide an otherworldly feel. Its philosophical lyrics linger on our state of mind and the many conflicts and contradictions that live within ourselves. It’s clear that Stefano and Elodie have a natural chemistry in the music they’re putting out and Left Side is a dreamy yet exciting wonder.
