Italy-based alternative pop duo Moloto & Babskin first hit our radar last month thanks to their sultry and soulful track Left Side. Now they’re back with a fresh track and video that marries club beats with philosophical lyrics. It’s called Traces.

Moloto & Babskin’s work is quite unlike anything else out there, uniquely mixing the acoustic with the electronic and playing with voice and language. Traces is sung in French and English but focusses on something more universal, the Earth as a cosmic body, and us as extensions of it. A sultry rhythm will have you moving while its rich depth allows you to sink blissfully into it.

The more I hear from producer, musician and DJ Stefano Florio and Italian-French singer and artist Elodie Lebigre, the more I’m digging them. I can’t wait to hear more!
