We recently reviewed your track Squeezed To The Bone. What can you tell us about the song?

Squeezed was written about a time when I decided to go from being employed to self-employed, which didn’t quite go to plan and I struggled financially.

How has the reception to Squeezed To The Bone been so far, and where can the track be purchased?

The track has been received very well gaining up to 400+ listeners on Spotify. The song can be purchased online from Apple, Amazon and many other music platforms.

Do you plan to release any more singles in the near future?

Another single will be released October 27th 2023 which will complete this EP.

You have an EP coming out soon, titled Songs From The Water Tower. What can you tell us about the record and when will it be released?

All singles are to be made into an EP titled Songs From The Water Tower, out on October 27th. They’re all personal life stories written from home. At the end of my street stands a water tower.

Are there any plans to release a full length album soon?

There will be another EP in 2024 and an album in 2025.

The track has a groovy blues rock sound. What/who are you most influenced by? What have you been listening to recently?

I listen to most genres of music, however, primarily I love blues and rock and I listen to Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, early Elvis Presley, all that old stuff. I love the Mavericks and the Travelling Wilburys, at present I’m listening to Richard Hawley.

You’re based in Corby. What is the local music scene like at the moment with you?

The local music scene here in Corby is not too bad – we are keeping the acoustic nights going and trying to encourage the bedroom players to get out on the scene and make a name for themselves. But Corby is and also has been a music town and word spreads quickly.

Do you have anything else exciting coming up this year?

I am beginning work on my second EP for 2024 this year.

Do you have any tour dates lined up for the UK?

Fingers crossed I will have some tour dates to announce from April 2024.

Any last words for the fans?

To my fans – Your support and loyalty runs deep with me I can’t thank you all enough for this huge response to my first EP. Vincent X.
