Mainstream pop music isn’t usually one of my favourite genres, but when it’s this good, it’s hard not to love!

American singer-songwriter Jake Adler has created something incredibly gorgeous in Scared To Be Lonely – it’s certainly catchy, but there’s also quite a folky vibe, making for a lovely mix of sounds. The verses utilises some pretty acoustic guitar chords, creating a subtle beauty within the track. Jake’s vocals ramp up with the tension as the chorus nears, making you really feel everything he’s singing about here. The chorus adds more of a typical alt-pop sound, creating yet another dynamic change. Check this out below – you won’t be disappointed!
