American project Kobanova mixes together elements of indie-rock, alt-rock and alt-country into one sweet package.

KOBANOVA (Fly High) is a wonderfully crafted song, drawing influence from all the genres listed above, and more! The songwriting is absolutely top notch, utilising an awesome chord sequence that really gets stuck inside your head on the first listen. The dynamics are used well too, building the track up into the anthemic chorus, utilising some bluesy guitar licks and piano motifs along the way. It all sounds extremely effortless, especially when the soulful vocals drift across the music, but it’s clear that Kobanova is extremely skilled. This is definitely a worthwhile listen!
