Some of the members of musical collective Blindness & Light hail from Barnsley in our very own county of Yorkshire, so I couldn’t help but share their latest release, Time For Something Drastic, with the world!

Time For Something Drastic spans across the boundaries of several different genres, including elements of indie, alt-rock, dream-pop and pop-rock. The track starts out with some lovely guitar melodies, creating a slew of gorgeous arpeggios within the music. The vocals soon kick in with the rhythm section, sounding extremely prominent against the music here. The chorus is a little heavier than the mellow verses, with an array of beautiful backing vocals kicking in occasionally, creating some wonderful harmonies. Give it a whirl below!
