I’ve heard great things about Australian sister duo Charm of Finches, but I’ve only jut gotten round to checking out their music!

I’m glad I did, as it’s so good! Atlantis is a great introductory track for me – it’s a folk song of sorts, featuring a simple yet effective piano melody as the main instrumental base. However, there are also some intriguing backing effects if you listen to the mix carefully, as well as a faint drum beat and some lovely strings, swirling around in the background in a nice way. The vocals are the real focal point though, weaving in and out of the music with ease, creating something extremely evocative. I can’t wait to hear more from Charm of Finches!
