I love me some neoclassical music, so it’s great to be able to share a British classical composer on these pages for once!

That composer is GéNIA and her new release, Far Away. In true neoclassical style, the piece consists of just a sole piano, playing throughout the entire track. The backing melody stays fairly similar throughout, going through several different movements, as occasional notes tail off, adding a sense of progression to the tune. It’s really beautiful, despite sounding rather simplistic at times, working its way into your head straight away. A must listen for all neoclassical music fans.
