Discovery: Isaac Roux

It’s not often we get to listen to music from Belgium, so it’s great to be able to share Isaac Roux’s music here.

By Jane Howkins

The singer-songwriter has produced something really beautiful in his new release, Autumn Love. It’s an indie folk track, characterised by a fingerpicked acoustic guitar motif, providing the main instrumentation. However, a set of faint piano chords can also be heard, as well as some gorgeous background effects, creating a suitably haunting atmosphere. Isaac’s vocals are pretty soft, but they fit really well with the folky style, making it sound even more beautiful. If you like your folk, check Autumn Love out!
