The Tragedy of Hanlet is the focus track from Poltrock’s Aulus II, the second leg of his Aulus diptych.

The Belgian composer has created something really special in The Tragedy of Hanlet. It starts out with a pretty piano melody, ebbing and flowing as the music progresses, with some faint backing noises heard at times. The piece occasionally breaks off before starting back up again, as the strings dance around in the background, slowing building up over time. The piano still remain the focus of the piece, but the orchestral elements add something really lovely, creating a nice backbone to the piece.
